Did you enjoy it?

Madrid Sensecamp 2019 #TECHFORGOOD

LET'S REWIND!

We really enjoyed those two days at Google Campus and we want to end this event with a little wrap-up of the best moments we shared with you during the Sensecamp!

Too Good To Go

We opened the day with Oriol Reull presenting us Too Good To Go vision about how to avoid #FoodWaste.

A really inspiring example of how to create new business models adding social and environmental value at the same time!

MedTech

Round Table

A MedTech discussion took place with Santiago Ruiz-Valdepeñas from Up-Devices and Alfredo Azabal from Cerqana ! Two ways to leverage technology and social innovation to improve the life of patients in the health sector!

A round table hold by the wonderful Jeanne Roche, super energetic volunteer of makesense in Madrid !

Barcamps

Participants had the possibility to pitch and organise their own 45 min workshop.

Eddie Capstick and Gianpietro Pucciariello helped on mapping a social impact map for Madrid to identify the "social impact" ecosytem of the city.

David Venegas presented his app project - Timeline - whose objective is to allow users to keep memories & reflections in a safe place and pass on a legacy to the next generations. The idea was to brainstorm how to best position it on the market.

Jeyashree Haridoss also had feedbacks to make her translate solution app project economically sustainable.

We also had interesting discussions with Lauren Miller, European Community Manager, Jeanne Roche and Valentine Dehay, active volunteers in Madrid about makesense and the volunteers community in Madrid! By the way, don't hesitate to contact us if you are interested in participating to one of our next events or in helping organizing one!

Itwillbe.org

Arancha Martinez, co-funder of itwillbe.org did inspire the audience by presenting Child PPa, an app enabling NGOs and social workers to digitally identify street children using a specific biometry technology.

Equalia

Carla Fernández presented Equalia, an association struggling to enhance animal rights respect until slaughter houses.

It was a good example of how technologies used for a good purpose can help raise awareness and change the bad practices for better ones.

Kuorum

Marvin Frömming  taught us how to use technology to help enhancing democracy!

Kuorum is currently providing local governments and institutions with the proper tools to foster citizen engagement and to run consultations, debates and participatory budgets.
